Good Grief Club at LMS

Good Grief Club: LMS will be offering a Good Grief Club for students who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, family member or friend. The Good Grief Club will be co-led by a trained volunteer from CaringMatters, Inc. and a School Counselor. The group will meet once a week during the school day for seven weeks. Through the use of arts and crafts, reading and discussion, we will help students understand what grief is and how to cope in healthy ways with their feelings. All the activities and discussions will be age-appropriate. CaringMatters, Inc. provides this service, free of charge, in partnership with Montgomery County Public Schools. “Good Grief Club”: LMS ofrecerá un “Good Grief Club” para estudiantes que han experimentado la muerte de un padre, hermano, familiar o amigo. El “Good Grief Club” estará dirigido por un voluntario capacitado de CaringMatters, Inc. y un consejero escolar.
