Chamber Choir
Loiederman’s Chamber Choir, performing a repertoire of high-school level songs, has received numerous superior ratings at the county, state and regional levels. In addition, the Chamber Choir has a busy performance schedule with 15 to 20 engagements every year, A complete calendar of performances can be found at www.johndavidmaybury.com. Three fourths of Loiederman’s 1,000 students come from the local neighborhood, while the remaining students are chosen by a county-wide lottery. Many go on to performing arts high schools, such as the acclaimed Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington.
