WELCOME TO HIGHLAND

Highland Elementary School is located in Silver Spring, Maryland approximately 12 miles north of Washington, D.C. Highland Elementary is home to a culturally diverse population of over 530 students in Pre-K through fifth grade, more than 80% of which speak a second language. We are part of the Einstein High School Cluster of schools in Montgomery County, Maryland.

Summer School Message for Parents

In an effort to support families who have not yet been able to enroll in summer programs this year, MCPS is extending the deadline to enroll through ParentVue to Thursday, June 2, 2022. If you need assistance in using ParentVue to enroll, first try this helpful guide (English, Spanish, Amharic). If you need further assistance, please reach out to your child’s school for support. As a reminder, this year’s summer school curriculum for elementary and middle school students offers additional and repeated opportunities to engage in the current grade level curriculum for mathematics and English Language Arts. 

En un esfuerzo para apoyar a las familias quienes todavía no han inscritos a sus estudiantes en programas de verano este año, MCPS esta extendiendo la fecha de vencimiento para inscripción a través de ParentVue hasta el jueves 2 de junio del 2022. Si necesita asistencia usando ParentVue para inscripción, trate esta guía de ayuda (English, Spanish, Amharic). Si necesita ayuda adicional, por favor comuníquese con la escuela de su estudiante.  Como recordatorio, este año el currículo de verano para estudiantes en escuelas elementales e intermedias ofrecen oportunidades adicionales que se acoplan al currículo de nivel de grado para matemáticas y arte del idioma inglés.
