FAQ: GSCES Parent's Guide to Returning to In-person Learning

Bus Routes for In-Person Learning

Morning and afternoon bus routes have been developed and are linked below.  Please know that route numbers and stop locations will not change. However, the bus number may be different. The route number(s) will be posted in the window of each bus.  Students are required to be at the stop 5 minutes prior to the estimated time posted on the school schedule. Please be patient as the buses may be delayed due to all of the adjustments.  Transportation may be combining and even splitting bus routes in order to ensure that every route is covered appropriately.  As the second phase approaches there could be additional changes, wewill keep an open line of communication to ensure everyone is informed of all changes.

Some quick reminders about riding the bus:

  • The bus can utilize up to 22 seats on the bus.
  • New busses are equipped with seatbelts.  These seatbelts must be utilized by each student.
  • Siblings must sit together.

MCPS Chromebooks for In-person Learning

Students are highly discouraged from bringing their personal devices into school to use for learning. If your child will need a Chromebook assigned to them when they return, please complete the survey below so we can ensure we have enough Chromebooks for any student that needs one. Students should bring their Chromebook to school each, fully charged and ready to go. Remember what the Bullfrog says, "Sign Out! Shut Down! Plug It In!" Should a student forget their device, we have extra available that can be signed out from the Media Center.
