Staff Development Teacher – Mr. Cairns

Mr. Cairns is the Staff Development Teacher. In this position he acts as a resource for teachers to expand their repertoire of skills, demonstrates lessons using new strategies, and supports new teachers. He also manages the comprehensive staff development plan within the school and custom designs training and job-embedded staff development for the staff. He supports teachers in gathering resources and analyzing data in planning their instruction. He assists teachers in applying new strategies, in implementing Curriculum 2.0, and in grading and reporting, while supporting teachers in developing and achieving their professional development goals.
