S-A-T WORD OF THE DAY:
Seal of Biliteracy Fun Fact:
Ethiopia's national language is Amharic, but there are over 82 languages and 200 dialects, or variations, spoken in the country.
This Saturday is Wheaton Community Day. The organizers are looking for volunteers to help support the event! They are in need of students who are willing to come help set up tables from 11-12 and then clean up from 3-4. They are also looking for a couple students who would be willing to work a face painting booth. The face painting will be done with stencils so no great skill is required, however any experience (theater, cheerleading, and art) is a plus-as well as an interest/patience with children!
If you have any interest in helping or participating further, please see Ms. Ramos in the counseling suite.
New this year! Any current junior who is hoping to be a student aide or teacher assistant during the 2019-20 school year must complete the student aide or teacher assistant form prior to May 31st. Forms are available in the counseling office and should be completed and returned to the student's counselor. No student will be allowed to become a student assistant or teacher aide at the beginning of next school year or the start of the second semester, next year, without having submitted a form prior to May 31st of this year.
