Good morning Titans! And Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! Originally starting 1968 as a one week celebration, we now dedicate a month to this celebration - from September 15th to October 15th. Hispanic Heritage Month specifically starts in the middle of the month because the 15th marks the independence day of five Latin American countries. We, the student leadership class, are looking for student performers and models to participate in upcoming presentations. If interested, please see Ms. Moore in room 205.


Only two more days until the Key Club informational meeting.  Comes see what all the excitement is about.  Key Club is a service organization that helps children in need around the world.  Put it on your calendar - Wednesday during lunch room 2039.   Come and see what the Albert Einstein Key Club is all about!  This is a great way to get SSL hours, while having fun with friends.


The French Honor Society will have its first meeting Thursday, September 20 in Room 28 during the first half of lunch.  All of last year's members must attend.  Students who are interested in joining are invited to come to the meeting to get applications and learn about the group.


Are you interested in K-Pop? Want to know more about the Korean music genre? Come to an interest meeting for the K-Pop Club on Tuesday, September 25th in room 260 during the first half of lunch. Hope to see you there!


Attention future lawyers! Do you like to argue? Do you like watching courtroom dramas like Law and Order? Are you interested in going to law school someday?  If you answered yes, then join the Einstein Mock Trial team!  There will be an interest meeting on Thursday, September 20 in Room 154 during the first half of lunch for anyone interested in joining Mock Trial.  Please see Mr. Nappo with any questions.

Juniors, this message is for you.  Last week Mrs. Lehman visited your English class to talk about registration for the PSAT and the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.  Remember that if you are interested in taking this assessment on October 10th, your registration must be turned into Mrs. Lehman by Friday, Sept. 28th.  The fee is $16.00.  Students receiving free and reduced meals are eligible to have this fee waived.

10th graders will also take the PSAT but do not need to register or pay the fee.


Interested in women's rights and international relations? Looking for a fun way to discuss important topics during lunch? Come to the first meeting of Girls Learn International (GLI) on Thursday, September 20 in Room 144, Ms. Shaffer's room during the first half of lunch. All genders welcome!


Did you know there is an honor society JUST for artists?! Do you like making art and making a difference in your community? The National Arts Honor Society is taking applications until Oct 2nd. Applications can be found outside Mrs. Harnish's Classroom- Room 38.


Missing world language credits? Looking to learn a completely different language?  Japanese 1 could be the answer for you! See your counselor ASAP about switching to Japanese and have a blast learning about the culture and language of Japan. 



If you missed last week's auditions for the Einstein a Capella group today is your last chance to audition during the second half of lunch in room 192 (the chorus room). Anyone is welcome to audition!
