Seal of Biliteracy Fun Fact:

One purpose of the Seal of Biliteracy is to  prepare students with the critical skills necessary to function in a global society.

Attention Seniors!  The due date for Senior Dues is approaching!  Senior dues are $50, and can be paid with cash or check to Varner in room 216.  You can also pay online, using the AEHS website, but there is a processing fee attached.  Make sure you've paid your senior dues by FRIDAY, DECEMBER 21st!  Otherwise, they will become an obligation!


There will be a meeting of THE CHRISTIAN CLUB, at lunch EVERY Friday  in room 263.  All those interested in the relevance of Christianity are welcome to attend.

If you are interested in becoming more relaxed and focused come to the Meditation Club in Room 144, Ms. Shaffer's room, every Monday for the first half of lunch to meditate and discuss mindfulness.


Attention all 10 graders! There is not much time left to apply to the ACES Program. Join us during lunch TODAY in the media center.  We will be helping students complete the application.  The first 50 students that sign up will get pizza! The ACES program is a completely free program offered to Einstein students to assist with all aspects of the college process.  We work with students during their junior and senior years to help prepare for and apply to college. Remember, you can only apply in the 10th grade! If you are interested or need more information, you may contact Ms. Dadzie in Room 113 (next to the career center). Friday is Ugly Holiday Sweaters

Spirit points will awarded to all students who participate. First period teachers will keep a tally for each day.


All our welcome to come speak French during the first half of lunch on Fridays in Room 28 for our French conversation club.  All levels of speakers are welcome, from novice to native.



Mondays during lunch in Room 28, French Honor Society members are available to help students who are currently taking a French course and want additional support.

Montgomery College will be visiting the Career Center on Wednesday, December 19th at 9:40. Students who have already applied to Montgomery College are encouraged to attend. This would be a great time to meet with the Representative and learn what you need to do next.  Please see Mrs. Lehman in the Career Center for a college visit pass.



•The GE Regan Foundation Scholarship  is open to Seniors with a 3.0 GPA  and awards up to $10K till Jan 4th!
•The Maryland School Counselor Association Scholarship is open seniors attending college and awards $500 till Jan 4th!
•The Montgomery College Macklin Business Institute and Scholars Program scholarships are open to seniors with a 3.0 GPA, majoring in business and awards a fully paid tuition till Jan 7th.
