Fall 2nd Semester Athletic Season

Hello Eastern Families,

We CAN, We Will, We R.A.I.S.E – Welcome to the Eastern MS Fall 2^nd Semester Athletic Season! The fall season will begin on April 20 and end on May 6, 2021. The middle school interscholastic athletics program is available for all students in seventh and eighth grade, and consists of the following sport activities:

· Coed Cross Country

· Boys’ Softball

· Girls’ Softball

The fall season includes three virtual engagement sessions per week, for a total of nine engagement sessions over the course of three weeks. The virtual engagement sessions are scheduled to occur on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursday’s, thirty - forty-five minutes post duty day for staff. Students are NOT required to submit a Pre-participation Physical Examination this year as we are remaining virtual. However, if they are a seventh-grade student, they will be required to produce a physical next year certifying that they are physically fit to participate in the EMS athletics program, and physicals are valid for two calendar years from the date of the physical for middles school athletes.
