New Student Enrollment Process for the 2020-2021 School Year
Hello and welcome to Diamond Elementary School within the Montgomery County Public School District. This is the first step in the process of registering and enrolling your student into our school system. The purpose of this form is to gather basic contact information so we can provide you with the necessary information you will need to register your student(s) into MCPS during the COVID-19 crisis. Please be aware that the registration/enrollment process will take a little longer than normal as we navigate these unusual times.
This registration survey is for students who are being enrolled by a parent or a responsible adult with legal and/or physical custody. If you are not this student’s parent or responsible adult with legal and/or physical custody, please contact the Residency Specialist via email at OR-Residency@mcpsmd.org for further instructions on the enrollment process.
They have taken out as much contact through paper handling as much as possible and changed the enrollment process to online. A Google survey has been created by MCPS to collect necessary information and begin the process. I apologize that you will have to repeat this step but they are trying to streamline the process for all schools. You will then receive communication with all the documentation required and forms for you to complete. Please follow the instructions provided. I will follow up with you if necessary.
