All students coming late or leaving early must sign in and out with attendance for the absence to be considered excused, even during lunch.

Today during the second half of lunch at 11:30 all sophomores who have Mr. Jurado as a counselor must report to the Career Center to sign in and reset their Naviance password.

We will be celebrating Pi Day Today in all Math Classes.

Get a tux for prom in 3 easy steps and support the DHS Music Department at the same time.
1. Get measured during lunch on 3/23 or 3/26. It’s free and it does not obligate you to order a tux.

3. M Stein will deliver your tux to the school on Friday before Prom and then you bring it back to school Monday morning. It couldn’t be easier!
Calling all senior athletes! The DHS Athletic Booster Club is pleased to present a $1,000 scholarship to one deserving male and one deserving female athlete! Applicants must have played a sport each year he or she attended DHS, maintained a GPA of 3.0 or better, be accepted into a post-high school education program and be a current DHS Booster Club member. Senior Class of 2020 who are members of the PTSA and will be pursuing further education at an accredited institution. To apply, submit the application form along with the essay in a sealed envelope marked PTSA Scholarship to the main office by Noon on Friday, April 3, 2020. No late applications will be accepted. Seniors: Please remember that you must be obligation-free in order to purchase banquet and prom tickets. You must also be obligation-free in order to participate in the graduation ceremony.
If you will have a guest attending the graduation ceremonies who needs accessible seating on the stadium field, please pick up a request form in the main office. Forms must be returned to the main office by May 15th. Only two tickets will be issued per request, as there is limited seating on the field.
Senior Banquet: Get ready for a night of reminiscing, dancing, fun and laughter! Tickets for the senior banquet (April 14th) will be on sale during the month of March for the low cost of $25. Tickets can be purchased from Mrs. Djouha in the guidance office before school or during lunch or from Mrs. Callis during lunch in Room 12. Don’t forget to submit your pictures to email@example.com for the senior slideshow that will be shown at the banquet.
The last day to order caps and gowns and tassels is April 15th. Orders can be placed by calling 1-800-jostens or online at Jostens.com.
