Mrs. Katherine (Kathy) W. Lertora, Assistant Principal
I have been an educator in MCPS for more than 20 years, with experience at the middle school and elementary school levels as a special education teacher and middle school science teacher. After spending several years working in the Department of Special Education, I had the opportunity to lead two special education schools, Stephen Knolls and Rock Terrace. My academic background includes a BA Degree in Psychology from Muhlenberg College with Elementary Education Teaching Certification, a MA Degree from the American University in Special Education and graduate work and Administration and Supervision Certification from McDaniel College. My children are both recent graduates from James Hubert Blake High School and are now in college and graduate school. My goal as an educator is to provide a rigorous, engaging education for students in a collaborative and safe environment. I love working with the Roberto Clemente Middle School students, staff, and community as an Assistant Principal and excited for another great school year.
