Reminder: At Clarksburg High School we will continue to conduct regular hall sweeps in an effort to curb repeat behaviors of tardiness and classroom avoidance. Parents, guardians, and caregivers are asked to review student attendance regularly via ParentVUE and speak to students about their responsibility.

Three teachers have been named 2023-2024 MCPS Teacher of the Year finalists. They are: Megan Anderson, fifth grade teacher at Chevy Chase Elementary School; Eunju (April) Moon, sixth grade English teacher at Ridgeview Middle School; and Clarksburg High School's own Shannon McKenzie, Child Development Teacher. The winner will go on to compete for Maryland Teacher of the Year honors. Read more about the finalists
