This is your principal, Mrs. Lloyd with the Sunday Night Screamer!

This week with will have materials distribution for 2nd quarter.  Please come to the school this Wednesday, October 28th or Thursday, October 29th any time between 9:00am and 3:00pm to pick up your child's reading and math materials for 2nd quarter.  All students will need these materials so please make arrangements and time to come get your child's items.  Please have your child's first and last name, grade level and ID number written as large as possible in your car window.  This will help the team that will be working for Burtonsville get you in and out as efficiently as possible.  If you will need to come after Thursday the 29th, please go to our school website and use the Ask A Question link on the left side of our webpage to email us so we can coordinate another day and time for you to come pick up your child's materials. 

Please join our PTA for a socially distanced Halloween Drive-Thru parade on Friday, October 30th from 6pm - 7pm.  Decorate your cars, dress-up in your best costume and drive through the bus lane to receive a prepackaged goodie bag.  Additional details are included in the attached flyer.

And last, but certainly not least, I know I have communicated that Mrs. Gobourne is our acting assistant principal for the remainder of this year.  At this point, I can assure you she doesn't feel like she is acting!  LOL! Many of your children have worked with Mrs. Gobourne throughout the years but for those of you who may not have had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Gobourne, here is a video I encourage all of our families, whether your child has worked with her or not, to watch.  You will see me including her on e-mails and if you e-mail me, you may get a call back from Mrs. Gobourne.
