My name is Mr. Krichbaum, or if you prefer Mr. K!  I have lived in Montgomery County my entire life, the first 13 years in Wheaton, and the last 22 years in Olney.  I began teaching in 2012 as a para educator and now as a classroom teacher.  I am married with 3 children!  My daughter Lily is 8, my son Cameron is 3, and my daughter Kourtney is 6 months old!  I love sports!  My favorite teams are the Duke Basketball team, The Washington Football Team, and The Baltimore Orioles!  Fun fact about me is that I coached the Washington Football Team QB Dwayne Haskins for 3 years in High School!  My hobbies include playing with my kids, jogging, and playing softball!  Let's make history together!

Ms. Angela Norwood, 7th and 8th Grade -  email

Hi! I am Ms. Norwood. I am originally from New Jersey where I started my teaching career. I am a graduate of Rutgers University and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. This is my 26th year of teaching and 18th year at Briggs Chaney Middle School. My first job within MCPS was at Galway Elementary School. I am proud to say that I have spent the majority of my teaching career right here in this community. My hobbies and source of happiness come from yoga, coloring, fury dogs, and spending times with my family.

Ms. Jacqueline Paige, 7th Grade -  email

This year is my 15th year teaching Social Studies at BCMS and my 30th year in the classroom.  I have taught 4th-7th grades in all subjects. I grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Temple University. I earned my Master’s degree in Education from Fordham University and taught for several years in the Big Apple before moving to Maryland. I am married and the mother of two adult children - a 3-D animator and a chemical engineer.  I enjoy traveling, reading, and completing jigsaw puzzles. I love spending time with my family, reading, and listening to music: old school hip-hop, jazz and neo-soul. Middle school history is my favorite subject to teach and I am really looking forward to an exciting year with you teaching, learning, exploring and being a part of history!
