Ms. Adrienne Calhoun, Content Specialist and English 6 - email

I am Ms. Calhoun, a veteran teacher of 16 years with combined experience in elementary, middle school, and high school teaching. I earned my Bachelor's in English at Columbia College for women in Columbia, South Carolina. I believe in the potential of every student and strive for excellence not only in my own teaching, but I also encourage the same work ethic from my students. While I began working as a Prekindergarten teaching assistant, my journey to full time teaching has been the most rewarding experience I have ever encountered. Teaching middle school has brought me full circle in my journey, and I have my feet firmly planted in the education of this prodigious group of young people. During my summer vacations, I enjoy soaking up the sun at local beaches in Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware. This rejuvenating experience prepares me for the next school year and the opportunity to have a positive impact on the next group of young people
