Tri-M: B-CC's Music Honor Society

Club Function

The B-CC HS chapter of the Modern Music Masters National Honor Society is called "Tri-M." This honor society recognizes students for their achievements in academics and music. B-CC Tri-M is a student-driven organization that aims to inspire other students and the community by sharing the joy of music through leadership and service projects.

 Membership

 New members are accepted at the beginning of each school year. Applications and recommendation forms must be submitted to Mr. White by October 4. New membership is open to Sophomores and Juniors who meet the criteria.

 Meetings

 Meetings are held in the Instrumental Music Room E008 during lunch on the first Monday of each month. Meeting dates will be posted. 

 Battle of the Bands 

 Battle of the Bands is a long-standing B-CC musical tradition sponsored by Tri-M. Bands are invited from the B-CC music community to perform their songs in a friendly competition. All ticket proceeds support the B-CC Music department.

 Sounds for Seniors 

As part of our community service, each Tri-M member is required to perform at one “Sounds for Seniors” event.  Dates will be posted.
