The middle school interscholastic athletics program is available for students in sixth, seventh, and eighth grade and consists of three virtual sport seasons, including fall (cross country and softball), winter (basketball), and spring (soccer). The middle school virtual athletic seasons consists of two student-athlete and coach engagement sessions per week, for a total of six engagement sessions over the course of approximately three to four weeks. The fall virtual season is scheduled to occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays after-school, beginning on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 and finishing on Thursday, October 8, 2020.
All students participating in the fall virtual season, as part of the MCPS interscholastic athletics program, must complete the online registration process. Registration is done electronically through the Argyle Magnet Athletics Registration form (hyperlink or share link to local school athletics registration form), which is also posted on the school's website. Students and parents/guardians who have difficulty with registration should contact Eric Franklin at Eric _S_Franklin@mcpsmd.org .

Our Excel Beyond the Bell Collaborative is a public-private partnership created by the Collaboration Council to inspire our youth to realize their full potential by offering safe, quality and accessible out-of-school time programs. Together with the Montgomery County Recreation Department and Montgomery County Public Schools, EBB Middle School Programs are offered at seven schools while striving to increase positive outcomes for our students by creating and supporting a high-quality after school workforce.

What is the Intramural Program?
The Intramural Program is an extension of the physical education program. The Intramural Program takes place before and after school on most Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. A variety of activities will be offered throughout the year.
Who is allowed to participate in the Intramural Program?
All sixth, seventh and eighth grade students may participate in the Intramural Program. However, on days that you choose not to dress for physical education, you may not participate in the Intramural Program.
May I participate on more than one team?
Yes, you may sign up for more than one activity. We offer before and after school activities.
How much does it cost?
All participants must pay the Montgomery County Public School extracurricular activity (ECA) fee.

As we move forward during the 2020-2021 school year and virtual learning, we look forward to working for and with students to continue to help Argyle be a great place to learn and grow. Some of you may not know what SGA is or what it does, so please read on to learn more!
What is SGA?
The Student Government of Argyle Middle School is a student-led leadership association representing the interest of ALL students in the decision-making process. SGA 's elected student representatives and general assembly members work with administrators and teachers to positively impact the school culture and environment through events, activities, fundraising, and student representation at county and state meetings.
Who can participate in SGA?
The Student Government Association is made up of two groups, the elected SGA Executive Board and the SGA General Assembly.
The elected SGA Executive Board include:

- Grade-Level Representatives
The SGA General Assembly is made up of ALL AMS students who sign up, come to the meetings, and participate in activities.
