8TH GRADE PROMOTION AND AWARDS CEREMONY INFORMATION

 

To help make this year’s class of 2021 promotion special, Argyle will host the following events this week:

  • Monday, June 7 -Thursday, June 10: 8th Grade Spirit Week

  • Monday, June 14 & Tuesday, June 15: In-Person Celebrations at Argyle MS

 

Please encourage students to attend our Argyle In-Person Celebration. There will be games and music for students to enjoy during the event! This is a time for 8th graders to celebrate, say goodbye to friends and to their favorite Argyle staff members before they transition to high school. For this event, students will be assigned to one of the following groups either in the morning or afternoon: June 14th a.m, June 14th p.m, June 15th a.m or June 15th p.m. The event will last for no more than 2 hours.

8TH GRADE CELEBRATION GROUPS

Hello Argyle Magnet families,

 

This is an important clarification for the parents and guardians of 8th graders about 2 upcoming 8th-grade events. The VIRTUAL promotion (to be held on June 11th) is separate from the In-Person 8th Grade Celebrations (for students only) to be held on June 14th & 15th.

The assigned groups shared below are for the In-Person 8th Grade End of Year Celebrations (which is not the same as the 8th grade VIRTUAL promotion on June 11th).

 

Please see the schedule below for student assignments for the 8th Grade End of Year Celebrations. Students only will attend one celebration at their assigned date and time. Activities include dancing, card games, limbo, basketball, soccer, yearbook signing, middle school goodbyes and so much more! Details on 8th-grade events will also be covered at our upcoming PTSA meeting on June 8th; there will be an opportunity to answer any of your questions at that time. We look forward to celebrating with you soon.

  • PLEASE, bring your iPad for return to at the celebration. This will be your time to ensure that you are cleared from any financial obligations related to the iPad check out.
