Summer 2023 Applications for Bus Attendants & Bus Operators Now Open!
Summer 2023 applications for summer work are now open and will close April 1, 2023 to be considered by seniority.  Click HERE to apply.  You must use an MCPS workstation.
 
DOT Employees on the Move!
Congratulations to the following transportation employees who recently promoted:
  • Carlos E. Chevez, currently bus route supervisor, West Farm Transportation Administration as transportation cluster manager, West Farm Transportation Administration
  • Shakia M. Taylor, currently bus route supervisor, Bethesda Transportation Administration as transportation cluster manager, West Farm Transportation Administration
  • Katrina M. Paris, currently administrative operations secretary, Support Services Unit as transportation routing specialist, Support Services Unit
Bus Schedules for 2022-2023 Now Available!
Bus schedules are now available here. Please note that bus routes may change. Department of Transportation staff are working diligently to ensure all routes are covered and efficient; however, some routes may experience service delays due to staffing and the need for multiple runs. Updates regarding delays and uncovered routes will be communicated on a daily basis by schools and available on the MCPS website.

Seat Belts on MCPS School Buses
The MCPS Department of Transportation is proud to announce that it is taking student safety on school buses to the next level. As part of our ongoing commitment to safety, MCPS has begun the process of phasing in seat belt equipped buses.  Read More Here
