Athletic Updates
The Student-Athlete Leadership Council (SALC) elicits student-voice regarding the administration of the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) interscholastic athletics program to cultivate a countywide athletics community that promotes the R.A.I.S.E. core values of MCPS athletics. Recently, SALC in collaboration with MCPS TV, created public service announcements (PSA) to promote various aspects of programming; including:
- National Girls & Women in Sports Day
- Why I Play
- National Athletic Training Month
The National Federation of High Schools (NFHS) National Student Leadership Summit is set for July 29th-31st in Indianapolis, Indiana. MCPS Athletics will send two student-athlete delegates. For more information and to apply, please click the link here.

Middle School tryouts for boys’ and girls’ soccer begin on March 7, 2023. Please have parents use ParentVue for spring registration.
