Summer RISE

Calling all rising MCPS 2023-2024 juniors and seniors interested in learning about a career during the month of July. 

The MCPS Department of Partnerships began taking applications to participate in the 2023 Summer RISE program at 8am  on Wednesday, February 1. Summer RISE aims to introduce students to industries and careers where there are opportunities to learn from industry professionals and engage in hands-on learning experiences related to their field of interest. Students must be available to participate between June 26th through July 28th. Student registration will close at 5pm  on Tuesday, March 7.  

Summer RISE staff are working hard to promote the program! Be on the lookout for visits to your school at lunch or sign up to attend a Student and Parent Information Session in-person on Monday, February 6 from 6:30 pm.-7:30 pm, Thursday, February 16 from 6:30 pm-7:30 pm, or virtually on Thursday, February 23rd from 7:00 pm-7:30 pm.
