Downcounty Consortium Elementary School Site Selection Advisory Committee (SSAC)

In response to Board Resolution No. 384-17, dated August 31, 2017, and in compliance with Montgomery County Board of Education Policy FAA-RA, Long-Range Educational Facilities Planning, MCPS staff formed a Site Selection Advisory Committee (SSAC) for the purpose of recommending a new elementary school site in the Downcounty Consortium to the superintendent of schools.

MCPS will receive public comments in response to the Downcounty Consortium SSAC Recommendation report. The superintendent of schools’ recommendation will be released February 20, 2018. However, the public comment period will remain open until the Board of Education hearing scheduled for March 22, 2018. Comments should be directed to:
