MCPS Virtual Summer Program (K-8)

Open to All Students in Rising Kindergarten through Grade 8

For families who prefer an all-virtual summer program, MCPS will be offering a Virtual Summer Program available to all students in rising grades K-8. The programs will run from 8:30-12:30 every weekday from July 6-July 30. Students will engage in four hours (with breaks) of live instruction in mathematics, reading, writing, and fun, engaging special activities in fine arts, coding, STEM, media, and wellness activities.

Registration will open on May 3, 2021 at 3pm and will be linked on this page.

Elementary:

The MCPS Elementary Virtual Summer School is an all virtual option for families interested in remaining virtual during the summer.  The program runs from Tuesday, July 6, 2021 through Friday, July 30, 2021 for a total of 19 days.  Each day, students will participate in Mathematics, English Language Arts and a Specials Block.  The student day is 4 hours beginning at 8:30am and ending at 12:30pm.

Program registration will be available Monday, May 3, 2021 at 3pm through Friday, June 4, 2021. Enrollment in the virtual summer school program may be limited.

Middle:

The MCPS Middle School Virtual Summer School is an all virtual option for families interested in remaining virtual during the summer.  The program runs from Tuesday, July 6, 2021 through Friday, July 30, 2021 for a total of 19 days.  Each day, students will participate in Mathematics, English Language Arts and an Enrichment Block.  The student day is 4 hours beginning at 8:30am and ending at 12:30pm.

Program registration will be available Monday, May 3, 2021 at 3pm through Friday, June 4, 2021. Enrollment in the virtual summer school program may be limited.
