**Certification Statements are sent to schools and offices generally around the 15th of the month following the end of each quarter.**
The federal government mandates that those whose wages are paid by a federal grant certify that they are working on grant-related activities. All MCPS employees in grant-funded positions must complete quarterly Certification Statements. Those with more than one position, one or more of which is grant funded, must also complete biweekly Personnel Activity Reports (PAR).
