Cigna and Privia Medical Group have reached a verbal agreement following their contract negotiations. Privia will remain part of the Cigna network without coverage disruption to Montgomery County Public Schools employees. The agreement was reached ahead of the contract end date and includes a formal extension until February 26, 2023, to allow time for finalizing new contract documents. Cigna expects to sign the new agreement by February 24. Once it is signed, Cigna will notify its members who previously received notification letters about Privia potentially leaving the network.
