Leave requiring approval to participate in professional activities that benefit Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) and the employee’s professional growth but are not a part of the employee’s job responsibilities. A critical component of the approval process is the identification of a funding source for expenses (substitutes, conference fees, etc.).
