Editorial Summit 2015

Your Resource for Grammar and MCPS Style

It was nice to see everyone at the last two sessions of the 2015 Editorial Summit. It was a good time of fellowship and reconnecting with those we have not seen in some time. We had around 150 attendees at both events, with a well-balanced representation from schools, administrative facilities, and central office.

Our esteemed presenters shared their knowledge and expertise on new procedures for managing correspondence in MCPS, how MCPS uses social media, and how to access resources available on the web to help us do our work. Special thanks to Mrs. Sheri Diegelmann-Ausura for sharing her testimony on how the Editorial Help Desk has helped her with her work.

Analysis of our surveys reflected that participants found the information shared by our speakers useful and the general message from all was that it was good use of their time to attend the event.
