About the Program

The plumbing program provides students with opportunities to learn the installation, maintenance, and repair of many different types of pipe systems. Plumbers install and repair the water, waste disposal, drainage, and gas systems in homes and commercial and industrial buildings. Students apply their knowledge and skills in the construction of a student-built house project. By completing this program, students are eligible to receive credit at Montgomery College in the Construction Technology program, as well as industry recognized credentials through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).
