About the Program

The Hospitality and Tourism Management Program is a nationally recognized program that was developed by industry experts and members of the American Hotel and Lodging Association.  The tourism industry offers significant job creation across all regions and has long been an industry with tremendous success for long-term career pathways.  Tourism is recognized as a major driver of economic growth and development.

The Hospitality and Tourism Management Program helps high school students take steps toward promising hospitality careers.  The curriculum introduces the hospitality and tourism industry on a global scale with a large focus on diversity.  The curriculum is industry driven as evidenced by the fact that more than 60 industry leaders served as subject matter experts, ensuring that today's program matches the needs of hospitality employers across the world.  The program also focuses on developing students' managerial and leadership skills.
