The Montgomery County Board of Education conditionally selected Dr. Joshua P. Starr as the next Superintendent of Schools for MCPS. Dr. Starr is currently the superintendent of Stamford (Conn.) Public Schools and previously served at an executive level for New York City Public Schools, the nation's largest district. Pending final approvals, Dr. Starr will begin his tenure on July 1.
